Iron Queen!!

The Iron Queen
by Julie Kagawa
Genre: YA, Fantasy
Publisher: Harlequin Teen
Release Date: February 1, 2011
Source: Net Galley

Summary:
My name is Meghan Chase.
I thought it was over. That my time with the fey, the impossible choices I had to make, the sacrifices of those I loved, was behind me. But a storm is approaching, an army of Iron fey that will drag me back, kicking and screaming. Drag me away from the banished prince who's sworn to stand by my side. Drag me into the core of conflict so powerful, I'm not sure anyone can survive it.
This time, there will be no turning back.

Book Review:
The Iron Queen, so hard to describe. It was great! The story was so well written and the plot was fascinating. I loved the development of most of the characters. Also I was so proud of Meghan. Meghan went from this scared naive girl to this strong, but stubborn, more mature young woman. I only recently got my hand on this book and I'm already done! It was probably 1 day ago, maybe less. As soon as I was able to I started reading it.  It was so good that I swear I finished it in no time. The whole story was just enchanting. It had everything that I look for in a book. A strong lead hero/heroine, a great plot, good supporting characters, and good writing. This is absolutely one of my most favorite books ever. I loved the first two books, but still my favorite will be the Iron King. The Iron Queen was superb, but I still love the Iron King more. I don't know it's just me. Anyways to be truthful there were two disappointments for me. One being Puck. I know most other people would be rooting for Ash and all that, but I have to say that I wish Meghan and Puck would end up together. I don't know why, but I do. I should probably get around to my point, Puck was a jackass in this book. Can't say a lot about this because I might give something away. What I can say is if anyone who really liked Puck in the previous books, they will be disappointed in him in this book. The other problem I had with this book is the ending. It's not a big problem, I just wish it had ended differently. I'm probably just biased though. Anyway I am really happy that I read this book. This is a must read for anyone who liked YA, Fantasy.

  2. Thanks! I wonder what Iron Knight will be about. I know it's supposed to be Ash's story, but what else?
