Book Review:
SOOO CUTE! You'd think that since it was a ghost story that it would be a little darker. It was basically a Romance book for teens. I liked it, but it was mushy. I like some of books where there is romance and I don't like others. I don't know why this is. I guess it has something to do with the writing skills of the author. Well anyways I liked this book. It was another short quick read, and it was light. I mainly wanted to read it because it had a pretty cover. I know that I shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, but I couldn't help myself. As for the story I really liked it. It isn't one of those books that I will read over and over, and never forget, but it was pretty good. I liked the idea that a ghost could still fall in love. Plus I liked the part that Eli played. Normally I'm into series. For some reason I tend not to like books that aren't part of a series. This is definitely an exception. If your looking for a book that is mainly just romance, and is a quick read then this book is for you.

Book Review:
Another paranormal, Young Adult novel. That is all it is. There really isn't that much about it that stands out. I think I'll try and take a break from Paranormal type books. Anyways I liked the story thought. I thought that the idea that some people who die trying to save another's life will come back to life. I also liked the idea that the same thing happens to those who are evil. I read this book mainly because of the idea of the book, but I also read it because I liked the cover. I don't know why, but I thought that this book would be deeper. For me it felt light. There wasn't really any depth. Plus the relationship in between Kate and Vincent was too mushy. That's my personal opinion at least. Either way I liked it. Another book that isn't memorable. It's not one of those books that I will never forget. The characters were okay. Nothing out of the ordinary. Kate was just another sweet girl. Vincent just another mysterious guy. Overall just okay.

Book Review:
Personally I liked it. I had never heard of it until a couple of days ago. The whole idea of the book was really interesting. And the execution was fairly well done. I loved the characters. Though with Alex I was thinking ooh stalker. There wasn't really that much to explain their relationship either. Plus the book is totally surrounded on their relationship, what I have to say is the weakest part of the book. Remember this is my personal opinion so if you don't like what I'm saying then you don't have to read it. Anyways when I read books I don't really like it when they get all mushy and stuff. Well this one definitely had it's share of mushy moments. I don't mind it when a book is mushy if the rest of it isn't totally revolving around the relationship of the two main characters. Also if the two main characters are going to have a relationship I want to feel like they really love each other. In this book that was kinda lacking. Though overall I have to say I kinda enjoyed it. With all it's faults it was fun to read. Though quite forgettable.

Book Review:
OOOOH! I loved this book just as much as the first. I have to say I might have even enjoyed it even more. After reading the first book I had very high expectations for this one. Let's say I was not disappointed.  There were ups and downs for this book. There were some very emotional parts, and parts where I was laughing my head off. I like how Cassandra Clare can write a very emotional scene and then have a super funny one afterwards. The plot was really well done, but I have to say that I liked the characters more. Simon is my favorite though. I have a soft spot for guys who are the best friend of the main character. Plus he is just overall pretty good guy. Jace is funny in a sarcastic kind of way, but he is also arrogant, and charismatic. I'll just leave it at the fact that I really enjoyed this book and that if you liked City of Bones you will love City of Ashes. I will have to get around to reading City of Glass, and look for a review of Clockwork Angel which is coming fairly soon.

Book Review:
For some reason I didn't get around to reading this book until a couple of months ago. When I did I really enjoyed it. It is one of those quick reads that you love, but move on. I thought that the story line was fun. Also the way the author depicts vampires is interesting. i have seen some different variations of the idea of vampires, but I haven't seen this before. I like the light feel in the beginning. Often times when I read vampire books they have a dark heavy type feel to them. This, though having to do with vampires, wasn't. Jessica was a nice leading character. She didn't really stand out though. I have read a lot of books with characters like her, so she doesn't really captivate my attention. As is with Lucius. Nothing extraordinary about him either. The story line wasn't totally unique, but it was still fun to read. I liked this book a lot, but I have to say that it isn't one of my favorites. I would suggest this book to anyone who wanted a short quick read.

Book Review:
OMG! It was sad. It was happy. It was just amazing. Michele was so sweet. My heart really went out to her. Having to deal with the death of her mother. Getting the cold shoulder from her grandparents. I just felt really bad for her, but I also understood how all of this made Michele a better person overall. Alexandra Monir really knows how to weave a beautiful story. I don't usually like romance novels, or novels that are more romance than anything else, but I loved this one. I felt like I could really connect to Michele. I also really loved how she helped each of her female relatives in turn. Michele learned a lot from all of them, and they her. The Windsor line is more than a line of blue bloods. It is a line of strong young women who know what they want and how to get it. Speaking of people that she helped, the relationship of Michele and Phillip was well done. I really felt like they loved each other. It was a little bit rushed though. This was explained through the fact that they felt like they already knew each other. I also think that Michele going in and out of the time period was totally unfair for Phillip. I felt bad for him. Pinning after someone who he could never be with. The ending was a really good one if you are speaking in writing and storyline good. In opinion good I didn't like it. It's not that big a deal, especially considering that I am biased in these type of things. Anyways it was a beautiful story, and a great debut novel. I would totally recommend this to anyone who doesn't mind romance in a novel.

Book Review:
WHAT HAPPENED TO SWEET HEATH!!! Those of you who have read the book already will know what I mean. Anyway, I swear I hated some parts. I loved some parts. And I both loved and hated some parts. You're probably thinking I'm crazy right now, right? Well maybe I am, but I still can't decide wether I loved or hated this book. I am a big fan of the House of Night series. Lately though I haven't really liked the last few books. I still haven't decided wether of not I liked Hunted, Burned, and Tempted. So it's hard for me to decide how I feel about Awakened. Steive Rae used to be so sweet. She had that whole country bumpkin thing. For the first four books I loved her. After Stevie Rae changed she became annoying, and most recently kinda a b****. The whole thing with Rephaim really has taken a toll on her. As the series has progressed the books have gotten more and more of a dark edge to them. Neferet is a great enemy. She is easy to dislike, but she makes things interesting. Zoe who I have loved since the beginning, started acting like a coward at the beginning of the book. Though I have gotten over this. The good things were the storyline, the other characters, and just the overall writing. My heart goes out to Damien and the rest of them. I really wish Zoe and Heath had gotten together again. I have nothing against Zoe and Stark, but I am a sucker for the best friend since childhood guy. For those of you who have read the ending I would like to say I feel like I'm about to explode. Either of anger for what it ended like or anticipation of what will happen next. Either way I will be looking forward to the next book. This series is still among my favorite even though I think they could be better.

Book Review: 

I read this books a couple of months ago so sorry if I don't get into specifics. This review is just my simple thoughts on the book. I'm not going have a page long review about it.

There is so much more to Halo than its cover...

The concept of this book was good. Bethany, her brother, and her sister come down to earth to protect their designated area from darkness and what not. For Gabriel and Ivy this is just another job. For Bethany it is different. This is Bethany's first time being on earth, having a human body. Unlike her brother and sister, she isn't unattached from everything else. They all three go off in their own directions. Ivy works in the town. Gabriel works as a music teacher at the high school, and Bethany has to attend school. 

I thought that Bethany was sweet and lovable. She was strong without being annoying, and she had the type of vulnerability that made people want to protect her. Though she was stubborn and was prone to making rash decisions. I guess this just makes her more believable. Unlike her siblings Bethany doesn't really know what she is doing. Gabriel and Ivy have to purposes set out for the. While  Bethany is still trying to find out what her role is in all of this. Xavier as another character I liked. He was sweet and kind. Xavier was just an overall good guy. Though at times he could be overly protective, but he was also passionate and loving. 

Alexandra Adornetto does a great job a weaving a delicate yet strong storyline. While reading the book you will be entranced by everything thats going on. The characters and the story line is wonderfully put together. Alexandra Adornetto has shown that she is an excellent write.

I cannot guarantee that you will like this book, but it is very likely. Though it was not one of my favorite books I will be looking forward to reading the books to come.

Book Review:

I am a sucker for YA, fantasy, and paranormal books. I don't know what it is about them, but I just love reading them. The only downside is that often times they share a common story line. After awhile this gets kinda annoying. This just makes the books that aren't like the rest that much better. Unearthly was both different and the same. It still follows the same core as the rest of YA, fantasy, and paranormal books. Except there is something more to it. I liked the book a lot, and I thought that Clara was a nice character. It was interesting to see the idea of angels spun in a different way. I loved how Clara took control of her own destiny, and the surprise twist at the end. I think the author wanted the reader to hate Clara's mother, but I don't know. I didn't like how Clara only knew who her mother was in the last 16 years. She knows nothing of her mother before that. I also don't like how Clara's mother keeps everything from her. Wen and Angela were great supporting characters. Wen was so sweet and just lovable. Angela helps out with whatever she can, and Clara can relate to her. Overall I liked this book. Sadly it is not one of my favorites, but it's up there.

Book Review:

Okay so I loved the first book in the series, Poison Study. Magic Study was not great, but not terrible. Fire Study was just plain horrible. Maria V. Snyder proved that she was a capable, talented, writer in the first book. As the series progressed though the books got worse. The characters that I loved in the first book either got replaced or they changed into annoying people. At first I liked Yelena, she was strong and knew what she wanted. Then she became annoying, she would rush into situations without thinking, and she pushed everyone away. Valek had to be one of my favorite characters in the beginning of the series. Though over the course of the series he changed. Valek no longer had his strong personality, it was like his world revolved around Yelena. Actually if I think about it, Fire Study isn't that bad. If you don't compare it to Poison Study you might consider it okay. The only reason I finished this book though was to get a ending for the series. Overall it depends, I thought it was bad, but another might have thought that it was semi good.

She's not exactly keen to meet up, but if Zoey doesn't go to Kalona he'll exact a fiery vengeance on those closest to her. She just has to find the courage to do what's necessary, or everything that's important to her will be 

destroyed.

Book Review:

Although it was annoying at times I liked this book a lot. This is one of those books where it just comes down to the person. It makes reviewing it hard because you don't want to tell someone to go and read it, and have them hate it. Actually the last three books are either my least favorite, or favorite books in the series. I don't know why, but I can't seem to decide. It is interesting to read the different character's point of views. I especially like Stevie Rae's when she made her imprint. I was upset when Heath got killed. I was really rooting for him. He is sweet, and he was there for Zoe from the beginning. Although I like Stark too. I am beginning to not really like Zoe that much anymore. She instead of growing, and maturing seems to be becoming more annoying by each book. Yeah she has a lot of problems, but lately she's kinda been acing like a slut. Besides all that I liked how Stark is so devoted to Zoe, and the new setting of this book. Overall I enjoyed this book, but I can't promise anything.

Book Review:

I really liked this book. When I read Nightshade afterwards I found a strong similarity between them. Jacinda and Calla both are destined to be married off to the alpha. Both fall in love with a human, ect. The only difference I found was that Firelight was better. Sorry Nightshade fans, but I just found that Firelight was the overall better book. In Nightshade Shay wasn't my favorite character. I found him kinda annoying, but in Firelight I actually liked the human that Jacinda fell in love with. The love triangle was done really well. Jacinda actually had some relationship with her arranged husband. She has at least some sort of connection with her husband to be. When I read this book I didn't really know if I would like it. It was a surprise to me that I actually liked it. The depth was kinda lacking, but isn't it always in Young Adult novels. I loved the relationship that Jacinda and Will had. They are perfect for each other. I can't wait for the next book! Wow.
